Bluegrace backs FKF’s shift to renewable energy with full funding for a solar and battery storage system at ZOFRATACNA’s
Eco-Industrial Park in Peru…
LONDON, U.K. – Greater London, May 08, 2025 — FRIGORÍFICOS KOBEFOOD S.A.C. (fkf.pe), a Peruvian company specializing in vegan food production, is advancing its commitment to sustainability by implementing a fully green energy system at its industrial facility in ZOFRATACNA’s Eco-Industrial Park, Peru. This initiative is backed by Bluegrace Energy Bolivia (BGEB), a global leader in sustainable development and innovative climate finance solutions, through the Bluegrace Amazon Carbon Token (BGACT).

The project benefits from complete funding via the Bluegrace Amazon Carbon Token (BGACT), a traceable, blockchain-based digital asset fully secured by certified forest-based carbon sequestration projects. BGACT, distinguished by its ISIN, ensures complete traceability, transparency, and market compliance and is traded on NeXchange. This funding approach highlights FKF’s dedication to sustainable business practices and represents a significant advancement in environmentally conscious industrial progress in Latin America.
Bluegrace Energy Bolivia is collaborating with APRISCO GROUP and TESLA Group a.s. to execute this green transformation. APRISCO GROUP and TESLA will implement a pilot project combining battery energy storage systems (BESS) with solar energy infrastructure at FKF’s ZOFRATACNA facility. The system will utilize TESLA’s AMOS (Advanced Microgrid Optimization System) for real-time energy flow optimization, predictive maintenance, and seamless renewable energy integration. APRISCO will oversee the full engineering and coordination of the solar installation, leveraging its expertise in project financing, construction, and renewable energy operations.
This independent green energy system will serve as a model for other industrial members within ZOFRATACNA and similar industrial parks globally, showcasing the practicality, efficiency, and scalability of sustainable energy transitions in industrial environments.
APRISCO GROUP, based in Barcelona, Spain, provides comprehensive support for renewable energy developers throughout the project lifecycle. With extensive experience in both greenfield and brownfield developments, APRISCO integrates financial and technical capabilities to enhance performance and mitigate risks. In collaboration with Bluegrace Energy Bolivia and Maximance 2030 LTD, APRISCO supports projects aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on energy transition, infrastructure, and efficiency.
TESLA Group a.s. (www.teslagroup.eu), a Czech-Slovak company established in 1946, specializes in compact, modular, and scalable BESS solutions. Known for its innovation and ISO certifications, TESLA Group has become a global leader in decentralized energy systems. Its AMOS software enables smart grid control, facilitating real-time data analysis, optimization, and seamless integration of renewable energy sources.
FKF’s commitment to this project is part of its participation in the “Development of Eco-Industrial Parks in Peru” (PEI Perú – Phase II) initiative under the Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP). Through this program, FKF has pledged to adopt international best practices in resource efficiency and cleaner production. This aligns with FKF’s long-term strategy to enhance its environmental and social performance.
The initiative is being implemented within ZOFRATACNA (Zona Franca de Tacna), a government-supported free trade zone offering legal and tax incentives until December 31, 2041. ZOFRATACNA’s framework provides businesses like FKF with exemptions on income tax, VAT, and import duties, fostering a supportive environment for sustainable and innovative industrial investment.

FKF’s participation in PEI Perú – Phase II reinforces its alignment with the SDGs, ESG principles, the Paris Agreement of 2015, and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) goals. By partnering with Bluegrace Energy Bolivia and ZOFRATACNA, FKF is not only improving its environmental practices but also contributing to ZOFRATACNA’s recognition as a leading Eco-Industrial Park in Peru and beyond.
Through this alignment of vision, values, and financial innovation, FKF is evolving into a next-generation model of industrial sustainability and wellness-focused enterprise.
